Mr. Warzynski graduated from Arizona State University College of Law in 1989, where he was a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985. He majored in Psychology and Sociology, with a certificate in Criminal Justice Studies.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Warzynski served as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward C. Voss of the Arizona Court of Appeals from 1989 through 1990. Mr. Warzynski worked as a prosecutor for the City of Scottsdale, where he handled all aspects of misdemeanor criminal trial matters, including appeals. He also coordinated and litigated the City of Scottsdale Police Department’s civil forfeiture cases. Mr. Warzynski was with the City of Scottsdale from 1990 through 1993.
Mr. Warzynski also practiced with the Office of Arizona Attorney General where he was an Assistant Arizona Attorney General in the Civil Division from 1993 through July of 2002. Mr. Warzynski handled a wide variety of litigation matters defending the interests of the State of Arizona, its officers, and employees. This work included the defense of catastrophic injury cases and wrongful deaths, defending claims of federal civil rights violations, and various special actions brought against high government officials. Mr. Warzynski also served on the Office of Arizona Attorney General Ethics Committee and wrote portions of the State of Arizona Agency Handbook and the Office of Arizona Attorney General Ethics Handbook.
Mr. Warzynski joined Jardine, Baker, Hickman & Houston, P.L.L.C. in July of 2002 and became a Member of the firm in January of 2007. Mr. Warzynski has taken more than 50 cases to trial before juries in a wide array of legal areas. Mr. Warzynski and Founding Member, Gerald T. Hickman (deceased), were awarded with a “Top Ten Defense Verdict of 2008” by the Arizona State Bar’s Publication Arizona Attorney Magazine. Mr. Warzynski seeks to continue to build upon his broad spectrum of experience for the firm’s clients. Currently a member of the State Bar of Arizona, he is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Arizona, the United States District Court, District of Arizona, and United States Circuit Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
